Obituary

Yolanda M. Diaz Molina, 80, of Vero Beach, FL. died Friday, March 11, 2022, with her husband by her side. She was born on July 22, 1941 in Ilobasco, El Salvador, Central America to Humberto Mercado and Maria Del Transito Molina Henriquez. She met her husband Roberto Elman Diaz when she was 13 years old and was married to him for 58 years. They lived together in Vero Beach, Florida for 41 years and raised five children. Those who knew her can attest that she was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family deeply and always provided unwavering support.

Yolanda was always a kind woman. From assisting the elderly in her youth to her constant devotion and support of her family. She loved to dance, especially with her husband Roberto Diaz. She had a beautiful singing voice, and often sang at family gatherings. She loved fruit trees and had a beautiful yard full of all kinds of fruit trees. From mango to starfruit, she always had fresh fruit in her home. She was a collector of beautiful things. She had a large collection of unique and beautiful earrings that she wore every day, her clothes were colorful, and her home was filled with lovely decorations that turned her house into a warm and inviting home. She brought color into everyone's life and never failed to spread joy wherever she went. Yolanda was always there for her family. Whenever someone had an issue, her family knew that they could come to her for help. She loved all of her grandchildren. She always volunteered to look after them when they were younger, whether it was taking them to parks or teaching her youngest grandchild how to read and write, she was the best grandmother you could ask for. She was happiest at holidays and special occasions, surrounded by her loved ones.
