Zelma E. Daugherty, age 88, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Vitas Hospice in Tamarac, Fla. Relocating from Okeechobee, Zelma had lived in North Lauderdale, Fla. for a year.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Daugherty and son Cecil James Payne. Survivors include sons, Jerry Daugherty of Orlando, Robert (Peggy) Daugherty of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughters, Norma Price of Okeechobee, Wilma Maxine King of North Lauderdale, Helen Louise Bush of Michigan; eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, June 22, 2011, at Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home at 10 am until service time of 11 am. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando.
